I liked staying at the Hyatt more than the Radisson because there was more to see at the Hyatt. They have a much nicer casino and more shops, and the outside scenery is more lush. They also have several restaurants to choose from and the food is better. The hotel is getting a little more run down and they need to make some improvements, but the service was great. The room at the Radisson was newer and nicer, and had a terrace (no terrace at the Hyatt). They did ask us when we checked in if we would go to another hotel for 3 days and return to the Hyatt on the 4th day since they had overbooked. They would not charge us. We said 'no' and the first room they put us in (even with your letter in hand) was on the lobby level and pretty bad. The bellboy offered to call and have our room changed which he did. The next room was much better, had a partial view of the ocean and was on the 7th floor so we were pleased. We asked for a small refrigerator, softer pillows, and additional hangers and they immediately delivered whatever we wanted. The beach at theRadisson is nicer than at the Hyatt; there's more of it too. I can't say enough good things about the service at the Hyatt and their desire to please! Also, the day before we left someone from the hotel called to ask us how our vacation was and to thank us for staying at their hotel (a very nice added touch). We met another couple who had stayed at the Marriott. They said the rooms were much bigger and with a terrace.
The car rental went beautifully with no problems whatsoever. We rented a small car and it was more than adequate. I recommend renting a car. It gave us more freedom.
I hope this helps. We had a wonderful time. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB SETTING THIS UP FOR US AND APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU DID-J
