Thanks for checking in. I hope that your thanksgiving was relaxing and fun! Beaches was AWESOME! The resort was beautiful and where we stayed in the French village was perfect for having a little one around. Our room was right in between a huge swimming pool with a zero entry section for kids and the water park that had lots of things for toddlers. Most of the restaurants were really good and the beach was beautiful.

The best part of the whole was certainly the Sesame Street connection. Brendan loved the characters and had a blast at the breakfast. It was really worth the extra money for the breakfast! (They had a buffet, characters came to each table and hung out with the families and at the end the characters led a dance party for the kids. Each child got a sesame street sippy cup, balloon, and a few other things.)

The Day Care at the resort was a life saver as well. It was bright, clean, and very well staffed. The hours were also extended to 10 pm so that parents could go to eat dinner at the adult only restaurants or just eat in peace! Brendan probably spent a few hours there almost every day and was always happy there.

The only negative experience we had was a snorkeling excursion that we took which turned out to be a complete waste of money. (Despite an approaching storm, they took us out anyway and wanted to let us snorkel in these giant waves. I got in the water and proceeded to be slammed into the side of the boat. Not a highlight!). Overall though, the trip was amazing. I would go back in a heartbeat!
