Celebrity Cruise Line - Constellation
Nov 10-19, 2005

By Hoagi Koster (age 50-55)

The food seemed more ordinary and not quite up to what I remember from the past Celebrity cruise I took - still beats NCL. The people on board caused me to re-name the cruise line "Slob-ebrity" - lots of fat people. One man keeled over onto my wife's foot on the dance floor at the 50's/60's dance. The husband of the couple we were traveling with gave him mouth-to-mouth and I guess it saved his life because at 5a.m. a helicopter landed on our ship in choppy seas to evacuate him - proof of the importance of insurance.

Freeport and Nassau stunk. We were one of two ships in port at St. Maarten and the only ship at St. Thomas on a Friday. Usually, the ports are cruise ship parking lots but since we were on a 9 day cruise our days were different from the usual Sat. - Sat. crowd.

We're going to stick with Holland America for our next few cruises. The price on the Constellation was our catalyst this time ($699.00 per person for a 9 day cruise is unbelievable). Jet Blue coming back from San Juan to JFK was great.

Thanks for booking us.
