Well, here goes. You can call me if you want more details. First, the one thing I didn't want to do in San Juan was be in the area I was with Tom for 2 times at the Holiday Inn. Well, guess what! The Verdanza IS the old Holiday Inn!!! It's nice enough but the area is dirty i.e. the walk to the beach and the beach is ok. The area around is fast food,etc. Not nice atmosphere. However, I discovered Kendra likes to gamble so it was nice to walk to the casinos at night.

The Rincon Beach Hotel was in a beautiful area. The area and beaches were gorgeous!!! The Hotel was nice too but mostly families like you said. There wasn't much to do there except gorgeous uncrowded beaches if that's what you want but we did 2 great things there. The first – and I think you can recommend people to do this – we went to Parguera and used the Paradise Scuba and Snorkeling Center to go on a snorkeling trip – 2 sites on a nice boat – and then back to the dock where they brought a snack and beer and then back out to luminescence bay. We got to swim there at night. The whole thing was fun partially because of the people on the boat. I would definitely recommend this trip. There are many but this was a nice boat and not all the trips let you swim in the luminescence. The guides were really good and attentive. I think we paid 64 dollars which I think is reasonable.

We also went horseback riding on the beach. Again, isolated gorgeous beaches.

I had trouble with the return of the car. It's hard to explain because I'm not sure what really happened but it's in dispute right now. I'm waiting to hear from Customer Service. There are 3 things: 1st; the gps did NOT work and they wouldn't take off the charge. 2nd: I think they gave me the wrong car receipt to sign off so i don't know what I paid for-mine, someone else's, both??? Am I still paying for mine??? 3rd: we went through a “wrong” toll. When we did, the lady gave us a number to call so we wouldn't have to pay a 150.00 dollar fine. We called about 5 times and nothing is resolved so I don't know wha'ts happening with that either!!!!

All in all, the trip was great. It's a beautiful place but I still prefer by far Mexico!!!!!! Thanks for all you did. Call me if you want more details
