The Cove Atlantis, Bahamas

We had a great time.  The water park at Atlantis is amazing with a pool river where you can float on an inner tube for hours, slide down waterslides and other fantastic stuff.

The Cove Atlantis is about a 5 minute walk down the beach from the Atlantis which is not a problem and the pool at The Cove was less crowded and that section of Atlantis is less crowded and more upscale. All the rooms are suites. The staff is incredible – they get your towels for you at the pool and there is much more staff per guest than at the main area.

There are no economical places to eat at the Cove and we had two kids with us so, since we knew the layout of Atlantis from previous visits, we ate at the marina restaurants and the casino grill which are good for casual dining. 

Only one complaint – they are erecting a timeshare tower next to The Cove and the construction noise was going on 24hrs a day.  They should be finished soon, but while we were there it was noisy, so they gave us a voucher for 3 free nights to use within a year and we’re looking forward to it.  By the way, the timeshares will cost over $700,000 for 3 months of usage per year.
